I'm looking for assistance to identify the hotel for PL express deal. Here is the info:

4* Punta Cana Bavaro Bidding amenities

I have been watching Priceline's 4* bidding option and within the last month the ALL INCLUSIVE amenity has recently been removed, showing no amenities.

Thoughts on whether Punta Cana Bavaro area would have a 4* hotel without the ALL INCLUSIVE amenity?

Please note, this is not the express deal that I opened the topic with. This is a NYOP option.

The amenities showing next to the star ratings on the NYOP side of PRICELINE are not for a specific hotel that you will be bidding on, they are amenities that are available at every hotel in the zone at that star rating.

So for example if there are 10 hotels in a zone at a given star rating, and all but one have a pool, the pool icon will NOT be shown since it is not an amenity at every hotel in the zone (at that star rating).

If PRICELINE has removed the 'All inclusive' amenity from this listing i would err on the side of caution and assume that they have added a 4* hotel in this zone that is not all-inclusive (OR that any 4* all-inclusive properties in this zone have been upgraded to the 4.5* level)... but either way, if you are looking for an all-inclusive property, i wouldn't bid on a 4* hotel in this zone. Either raise your minimum star rating to 4.5* (which does still show the All-Inclusive amenity) or use PRICELINE EXPRESS and choose a property that shows the All-inclusive amenity.

I noticed on Hotwire hot rate deals, when you select a deal and it brings you to the screen with the details and amenties, hotwire will sometimes have a blue banner stating "Book soon! The last person got the [hotel]".

Has anyone found that this hint is generally an indicator of the hotel you will receive? Has anyone found that this hint actually changes as more people purchase the deal?

Best guess for the 4* PRICELINE EXPRESS property above would be the Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana.

This information is in related to the last person who booked a hotel of that star rating and in that zone... not the specific hotel that is currently being offered.
