Does anyone know what is going on in New Orleans this particular weekend of 3/14/14?

Rooms are extremely scarce downtown and in the French quarter. With prices extremely steep.

I'm not sure if this is the reason, but there appears to be a LOT of St.Patrick's Day events planned for this weekend (parades, organized runs/races, etc)

I'm having the same trouble. I was looking for anything in FQ or downtown for that weekend. Another person on the board scored $60/nt at crowne plaza a few days ago. But I haven't been able to get ANYTHING 2* and up for anything. I bid up to $110 so far.
