frozen Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 I had no time to screw around with multiple bids, and went with initial offer of $100 for 3.5 star property. This was accepted for San Marcos hotel. This was a marginal 3* when I last stayed there (2013) but apparently it has been renovated, and the location is nice. Still the unfortunate matter of an unannounced "resort: charge....
AaronJB Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Congrats on your success. :)Good deal for this property and hope the hotel will work well for your travel plans. Unfortunately, resort fees are fairly common in this area.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
Mirandamega Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Resort charge? How much is that? And is it on top of the hotel tax?
thereuare Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 The Resort fee is $10/nite and payable directly to the hotel, it is not included in the amount you pay to PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
