Hotwire Hotel: Caribe Hilton and Wyndham Old San Juan

I am new to this kind of purchasing a hotel. I have always basically paid full price.Time for a change!! :)

In researching hotels for SJ,I think we would like the Caribe Hilton or the Wyndham OSJ.........

However I cant figure out which hotels these are on Hotwire..

Do some hotels show up for one week but not another?? I need a hotel for Dec 5,2003.........

Did you see the Hotwire hotel list for Puerto Rico HERE.(be certain to read the whole thread, not just the first post)

The idea is to match the amenities and star rating of those in your Hotwire search with those shown in the list, so hopefully you can identify the hotel before purchasing. If you want me to explain this further, just let me know and explain in more detail.

If your not familiar with the ins/outs of Priceline and Hotwire you may also want to give this thread a read too: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.

As to answer your question about whether different hotels are shown at different times...

Hotwire will only show one hotel per zone at a given star level. So you won't ever see two 4* hotels offered at the same time. It's undetermined exactly what determines which hotels are shown at what time, but often you'll see the same hotels for at least a few days (sometimes the prices will fluctuate by a few dollars). If you clear your browser's cookies, you may very well get a new mix of hotels as well. Just to experiment, try running your search for multiple rooms and there is a good chance that you'll see even different hotels shown than the ones shown on a single room search.

PS.....You're so smart..........I just typed in 3 rooms and sure enough the Wyndham OSJ showed up.......Guess i'll keep on checking every day or so........or maybe you know 2 others that need rooms??haha!!
