4* hotel on Las Vegas Strip (<$50)

Am I being too much of a cheap skate to think I can get a 4 * hotel on the strip for less than $50? Are the hotels in the north end of the strip not as nice as the south end?

I do actually think it's possible for these date/s - HOTWIRE has a 4* in Strip North for $63 and a 4* in Strip South for $43. Are both zone/s acceptable?

Are the hotels in the north end of the strip not as nice as the south end?

As long as you stick with 4* and above i think the Strip North zone is fine... at 3.5* and under you begin to include some of the hotels in the very north part of the zone which is less than ideal.
