Priceline Hotel: 5 day precruise stay

We are looking for a hotel in either Hollywood Beach area or Fort Lauderdale BEach area for January 16-21 2006

Its a very high priced time of the year. I have a room booked on Expedia, a very small motel, small room, cheap, 90. us. just incase, even has very good reviews. Its the Tropi Rock motel. Any input would be great.

but if I could somehow get into a better quality hotel, maybe even with breakfast or shuttles, that would be great. we won't have a car.

We would settle for a hotel in Fort Lauderdale like the Amerisuites but its priced at $181.00. Maybe someone has some tips for me.

I tried to bid last week 100.00 rejected, then tried $120.00 still rejected.

I only tried downtown fort lauderdale because I thought I would stand a better chance of getting the one I want.
