New to hotwire and trying to identify/choose hotel for waikiki travel dates 04/17/2014 to 04/23/2014

I am searching Waikiki south beach-diamond head. I'm a bit confused because as the info here says not all hotels listed full price on hotwire are included in the "hot rate" so i'm not sure

these are the options coming up under 3 stars and above

1. free breakfast, smoke free, self service, laundry, free internet, fitness center, pet friendly, pool, near beach, business center $141

2. free internet, resort, boutique hotel, beachfront, smoke free, restaurant, self service laundry, golf nearby $124

3. near beach, 1brm, full kitchen, daily housekeeping, pool, business center, 24hr front desk, self serve laundry, tennis $146

Thanks, I might try my luck bidding on 4 star waikiki beach on PRICELINE because when i add in taxes and then convert to AUD the savings are't that great for the "risk" of mystery hotel (compared to the hotel booking sites like Hotels.com and Expedia etc) of course it depends on which hotel.

I will report back if i choose to go HOTWIRE hot deal.
