Can I please get some help identifying this 4 start hotel in Downtown - SoHo - Financial District area?

Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Self service laundry, Internet access

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

ALSO, how often do these hotels change? i.e. for a 4 star in this same area, can I expect the hotel (and thus the amenities) to change after a week? I assume the answer is it depends, but wondering if there is a rough number of days

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Betterbidding.

There is no set period in terms of how often listings change. It is entirely based upon inventory; the same listing may appear until your stay or change tomorrow. A city like NYC does have more turnover, but there is no way to know when a listing will change. You MAY get different listings when you search for 2 adults and 2 children, but keep in mind that in NYC this often leads to noticeably higher rates.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know (and provide your date/s of travel.)

Thanks - I will definitely use those links.

One more question thought this is for PRICELINE (not sure if this should be a new post in that forum). I believe you can add nights onto your stay when you win your bid on PRICELINE; however, can you also add more rooms? If somebody could confirm both, that would be great.

With PRICELINE you can add additional nites (when offered, see further comments below) but not additional rooms.

The 'add nites' is not always offered, but even when it is, it does NOT guarantee that you'll be able to add nites, as you can get one of three responses when trying to add nites to your stay:

1) you've successfully added nites at the same rate

2) inventory is available but only at $xx (and you then have the option to accept or reject the higher price point)

3) no inventory available to extend your stay

Also, note that you can only try to extend your stay for up to the same number of nites as your original purchase, so you can't purchase one nite and then try t add five nites, it has to be the same number of less as your original purchase.

What are your dates of travel?

Great information. Thank you.

Dates of Travel are April 24-27th. Looking for SoHo - TriBeCa area. I will probably bid on a 3* hotel in that area after thinking about it. While your Priceline Hotel List includes the Solita Soho, I don't see many winning bids recently for there. So I think that the Holiday Inn may be the likely hotel for a 3*.

Hotels may provide inventory to the discount services rarely or frequently. There is no way to know, really - some hotels may not be seen as a win for months (or longer) and then suddenly pop up again, while others are seen commonly. Others may be seen commonly for ages, then suddenly not be seen as a win for months at a time.

There is also the possibility of being upgraded to a 3.5*, or getting a 3* that hasn't been reported to the board (the list only offers the hotels that have been reported to the board.)

Let us know once you're ready to move forward and we'll take it from there.

This property has not yet been reported to the board and i'm not able to gain any insight into this one, but are you familiar with NYC and/or need to be in this specific location, as for the average visitor midtown is considered to be more centrally located and an easier 'base' from which to start each day.

Apologies - looks like it's World Center Hotel.

Not sure if the amenities/offer has changed since you looked but if you search with our BiddingHelper.com and use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW TAB i'm currently seeing a 4* hotel in the Downtown zone with the following amenities:

Fitness

Restaurant

Business

Laundry

Hi-Speed Internet

Wheelchair Accessible

If this i what you're seeing my best guess for this one would be the Doubletree Financial District... does this work for your needs?

Unfortunately we were looking for SoHo / Tribeca and trying to avoid the financial district. It's for a bachelor party so want something where it's a bit more happening at night (not far from meatpacking). Thanks for the suggestion. I'll continue to monitor.
