Could probably have got Saguaro or others for less, but reviews for Saguaro are pretty mixed, so felt more comfortable paying more for what may be a reliable stay (all 3* in this area have good reviews). Reviews on various sites for this one are glowing - e.g. 92% Trip Advisor.

Did win on priceline the 4* Scottsdale Resort & Conference centre for preceding weekend at better rate but when trying for this mid-week date, I wasn't getting anything even when bids went over $100, so just went this route. Only staying overnight before flight out next morning, so this should be fine, especially being in midst of Old Town.

I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post, which would not have been seen unless you clicked the 'See all' link during the check-out process.

Yes amenities also included Roll-in shower. Was on another line which I guess I missed when cutting and pasting.

Stay was fine. Not quite sure what the TA rave reviews were due to, but we arrived late and left in morning so perhaps didn't get the full experience.
