MaryRN Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 It appears that Priceline has redefined the areas in San Juan, PR for hotels. I was wondering if you know which 4 star hotels are included in the Isla Verde & Condado areas? It may be a good thing that they have redefined their areas because there will now be fewer options in those groups....Thanks for your help!

MaryRN Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 Thank You! I'd be happy with ANY of the 4 star hotels in Condado/Old San Juan. IF there was a choice, I'd go with the Marriott Stellaris. Thanks for the list update!
thereuare Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Keep in mind the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List that new hotels could be added, or existing hotels could have been upgraded/downgraded since last reported, so you shouldn't consider the hotels there a finite set... you could get something else not indicated in the hotel lists.Assuming this is acceptable, i think your 4* budget may be a little tough, but you could likely get a 3.5* within your budget. If you want to first try for a 4* and then if rejected adjust accordingly, you can try as follows:When bidding 4* in the San Juan area you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Condado...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know hot it goes.
