Thank you for the follow-up.

I was a little concerned that your date/s were now or coming up soon. Lincoln Park is not the best choice in the middle of Winter if you are going to be downtown a lot, as it's bitterly cold in Chicago right now.

However, in the Summer, Lincoln Park is a great area to browse around, with the zoo and Old Town nearby, as well as a ton of restaurants and shops nearby. Please let me know if you have any city questions.
