asselmar
Am trying to secure a 4* for March (13-20) my $95 bid has been rejected and I will try again tomorrow…Have notice the express deal of... $243 wifi, parking, pet…guest rating 9.0. I am guessing that is Amsterdambut after I bid up came another $192 wifi, swim, weights, casino, parking, dining, biz ctr…guest rating 7.0. Would that be Divi?Any additional thought on how to secure via name the price would be appreciated. Would love Marriott Stellaris, Hyatt etcThank you much…and yes I have been using your links. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! With PRICELINE EXPRESS at ~$200/nite your bids of $95 is too optimistic/not realistic, imo. What is your maximum bid for a 4* hotel in this region? Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find for a 4* hotel in this area thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. asselmar
Ok - can certainly up my bid - any thoughts on how high I should go. Looked over your forums quite heavily and saw that the 95-120 range seemed appropriate. Perhaps not at the time I want. Also any thoughts on the express deal and what hotel it is?EXPRESS DEALPalm Beach - Oranjestad, Arubasave 40% or more+$192per nightChoose 4-star Palm Beach - Oranjestad, Aruba deal for $192Guest Rating: 7.0Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness CenterThanks MuchM Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are date specific and can differ substantially even from one day to the next.If you search our Priceline Maps, search for Aruba and filter the months to ONLY March you'll see that historically nothing has been reported to the board at under $100/nite and there are many instances of $150-$200+.Another 'eye-opener' is to use our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com and search 25 miles of Palm Beach, Aruba. Filter the results to only 4* and higher hotels and then sort by price... while there are a few 'non-brand name' hotels at the 4* level at under $200/nite, the first name brand property is the Renaissance at $332 and it quickly goes up from there with some hotels for your dates at well over $400/nite.With all of the above noted, what is your maximum bid at this time? Is $192 on PRICELINE EXPRESS something you would consider as your next move OR would you sooner bid up towards that amount on PRICELINE using Name Your Own Price? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.
