taliategan
I was fooling around with this for a few weeks and not really see any good rates on HOTWIRE or PRICELINE. Was hoping to keep total costs under $ 200, but I guess $216 is not that bad. I was bidding on a few car sizes, but Standard seemed to be the lowest rate on both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE for this holiday weekend. I was consistently getting a prompt from Priceline that my bid was too low and suggested bidding $44. Once my previous bids were denied, I usually received a counteroffer of $ 45. This was going to be my last bid on this bidding session. I did have a lower backup rate through Enterprise by a total of $ 30, but it was in Naples and would have required somebody to pick us up at the Ft. Myers airport and drive us to Naples (where we were ultimately going, but I did not want to bother this person to pick and take us to the airport.) Link to comment
