FCPB Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 I'm new and I want to know if it's possible, and if worth to use priceline to get a hotel in NYC for 10 days in the MTE and Soho areas. It's a good option for 10 days? How much is the average of 3.5* hotels at these areas? there're any other areas that I should consider? I would like to pay $130-160 for day. Thanks
AaronJB Posted January 20, 2014 Report Posted January 20, 2014 Welcome to Betterbidding.I think getting a hotel in either zone for these date/s is possible, but it may take towards the higher end of your budget. Are you willing to stay anywhere in either zone? Midtown East is a very nice area and would be high on my list if I was going to NYC tomorrow, but a couple of the hotels are towards the far E border of the zone. Is that okay?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
FCPB Posted January 20, 2014 Author Report Posted January 20, 2014 Thanks for your answer. Actually, I never went o NYC before and I read some tips that MTE is a good neighborhood to stay. If the E border has metro nearby, for me it's okay. But as you told, I think the price will be a little out of my budget. Do you have any suggestions of areas to stay? I don't want to stay in areas that are too touristic.Thank you!
