I'm trying to identify 3.5* and 3* in Dallas uptown. I will be attending a conference in March 15-18 at convention center, the closer to the convention center the better.

3.5* has FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self service laundry, Internet access

3* has FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, In-room accessibility

Any advice, suggestion are welcome.

My best guess for the 3.5* hotel would be the Doubletree Hotel Dallas Market Center... for the 3* my guess here would be the Holiday Inn Dallas Central Park Cities (but i'm less confident about this second one)

Another question is that should I book ahead on hotwire since the date is 3/15-3/18? will the price likely to go up if i decide to book later on ? I know this is a big conference so there will be a lot of people. Any suggestion are welcome. Thank you

It's impossible to say how the rates will develope between now and your stay. If it's a busy event might it be a good idea to secure a room if you think the offered rate is good. But it could also come down closer to the date.

Besides 'price risk' of the price going up (if you don't book) or the price going down (if you do book), there is also 'hotel risk' in the sense that you have to consider how you feel about the Doubletree (assuming our guess is correct)... if you like this hotel and would want to stay here, by waiting you also run the risk of this hotel disappearing and replaced by a different offer (or no 3.5* hotels appearing for your dates at all)

Thank you so much for all the suggestion. I have another last request before I make final decision. I saw a better price at other location ( Love Field DAL - Market Center ). Can you predict these 3* and 4* hotel ( 3/15-3/18)

3* (80%) has FULL AMENITIES: Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Self service laundry, Internet access, In-room accessibility, Handicapped parking

I would agree with your guess for the 4* of the Hilton Anatole... unfortunately i don't have any insight into the 3* hotel in this zone.

I decided to book the 3* hotel at Love Field and it turns out to be Holiday Inn Express Suites Stemmons. A little bit far from Dallas Convention Center, but free parking free breakfast free wifi and shuttle service. I guess it's ok
