UrbanTraveller Posted January 19, 2014 Report Posted January 19, 2014 This was my 2nd time staying in Boston, MA and also my 2nd time booking this hotel through Priceline.Although, I got a much better rate in June 2011 of $140/night, I suppose you must allow for inflation.I started at $100/night for a 3.5 star hotel in the Back Bay area of Boston, MA. All I knew was that I refused to pay their run of the mill $430/night rate.I was hoping to get at least $250 off of the rate since we were staying for 4 nights. My first attempt of $100/night for a 3.5* in the Back Bay was unsuccessful. My 2nd attempt: $120/night for a 3.5* and a 4* in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill was equally unsuccessful. It took me about 12 attempts to finally get the $170/night rate.Key words: Don't give up!
