Amenity set and reviews made this likely to be the W Hotel.Knowing that I am basically happy with any 4* in SOMA, I decided to try Priceline before taking the Hotwire deal.Began bidding for 4* SOMA only @ $125, and rebid in $1 increments to get the exact price of $129.Even more, PRICELINE fees were about $9 less than HOTWIRE, so a total of $17 cheaper than Hotwire.Retail rates for the W were $299, so a nice big savings there. Intercontinental was $209 retail. There was a cheaper USW 4* on HOTWIRE at $125, but I am not crazy about that zone and its hotel choices at all. Link to comment
