Travelss Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 I'm looking to book an hotel In New York May 24-26th. I'm open to stay in many areas as long as it is close from the subway. Should I wait longer and what should be my target price for 3 1/2 or better? I tried in the $130 range without success.
AaronJB Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 Given how busy this period generally is, the best time to bid would be now. Additionally, there is no way to guarantee being right by the subway; in any instance, the hotel could be anywhere within the selected zone/s.What would be your maximum budget per night for this stay?Edited to add: looking at HOTWIRE, prices are expensive but not as expensive as I would have imagined prices would be for this time of year. I think a 4* is probably attainable in some areas of Midtown for $150-165 plus or minus really depending on the zone. Would this price range be acceptable?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
