Hello,

We will be traveling to NYC arriving on 6/30/14 and departing on 7/4/14. Two couples needing two separate rooms. Four star or above. We prefer the Midtown West, Midtown East or Chelsea areas. What is a good bidding strategy for that time and location?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

This period unfortunately still falls within the busier late Spring/early Summer period although you may luck out a little with 4th of July. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay?

Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Where is your back-up $183/nite hotel?

HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Doubletree Metropolitan for $150/nite... and what might be the Shoreham New York for $156/nite; are either of these of interest?

I'll also add that while not a 4* hotel, i'm also seeing what appears to be the well reviewed Element Times Square West, for $135/nite, should this work for your needs and/or budget.
