artty t Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 I tired choosing Logan area, and choose 3 stars .. put my bidding price up to $100 and still no luck. I saw from hotdeal that the 2* is 96 but not sure how far from the airport. Shall I give up and buy hot deal? My period is Apr 10, 2014 ... I need the hotel nearby the airport because I need to catch the early morning flight (6am) to buffalo. Thanks.
thereuare Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see the following amenities associated with this property:Free Parking Free Internet Shuttle Smoke Free Business Hi-Speed Internet Room Accessible If so, my guess for this one would be the Rodeway Inn Logan International Airport.Alternately, you could book this Suburban Extended Stay Logan Airport for $99/nite which is fully refundable until a few days before your arrival, which gives you the flexibility to continue to try PRICELINE / HOTWIRE to see if anything better comes along with the same price point. You may also want to inquire with each hotel if their shuttle is 24/7, as a taxi from either could be expensive, if the shuttle is not running at a time that you need it.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. artty t Posted January 17, 2014 Author Report Posted January 17, 2014 HiI tried again today and ended up finished bidding for 2.5* at $95,. The place is Fairfield Inn & Suites Boston North, in Marriott chain. Actually, the location is not that close to the airport as it mentioned but the review ratings there are good. Still figuring out how to go to arrive the airport at 5am. Guess taxi is the only way since Fairfield does not provide airport shuttle.

I'm not familiar with this area so I can't give you any advice when it comes to transportation to the airport.
thereuare Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 You can call the hotel (or ask upon check-in) what your options are for an early morning flight. There may be 'share a ride vans' that you can use, but these usually require a big buffer in terms of time needed to arrive at the airport since the vans will stop at other hotels to pick-up other passengers (and you never know if you'll be the first pick-up (bad as you then take a tour of all the nearby hotel parking lots) or the last pick-up (good as it's as quick as if you had take a taxi anyway)... so at that hour i suspect that taxi will be your best option, but the hotel will have a much better sense of your options since i'm sure they deal frequently with others in your situation.Have a great trip.
