Priceline Hotel: 5* Bidding South Vicinity

Hi,

I am attempting to bid on a 5 star hotel for May 1 - May 4 (3 nights), and wanting either the Cosmopolitan or Aria. I know Vdara is grouped in this same category but does not have a Casino. Any idea if you can bid on priceline and ensure you will receive a hotel with a Casino?

If not, what is the lowest price you think I can receive waiting for a deal on a 5 star with casino in the south vacinity for these dates on hotwire or priceline?

Welcome to Betterbidding.

When you select 5* in the Strip South zone when attempting to start the bidding process if your date/s, if you do see a casino as a guaranteed amenity, then the hotel should have one. If not, then there is definitely no guarantee. Are you seeing a casino when selecting 5* SS?

Otherwise, you can look on HOTWIRE for a 5* listing w/casino as a guaranteed amenity. Please let us know your thoughts and if you have additional questions.

Thanks for the help! No, I do not see Casino as a listed amenity under the PRICELINE bidding. Does this sometimes appear? If so, would it be worth waiting and checking back to see if it appears in a few days?

HOTWIRE is listing a Strip south zone 5* for $161 per night which is still a little higher than I'd like to see. Any suggestions very much appreciated!

No, the 'guaranteed amenities' shown in the bidding section of PRICELINE are amenities that are available at ALL hotels in the zone at the star rating you selected. Since there are some 5* hotels in this zone that do not have a casino, you will never see the casino amenity listed here for this zone (unless PRICELINE re-draws the zone boundaries to not include any non-casino hotels or no longer has contracts with 5* non-casino hotels in the zone)

If a casino hotel is a must have vs. a want, then your only options would be HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS (and choosing a hotel that shows the casino amenity). Also, keep in mind that there are 5* hotels in this zone with casinos other than the Aria or Cosmopolitan, even if you choose a 5* hotel with a casino it does not assure either of these properties.

Which other 5* with casinos are you referring to in the Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South? Per the Priceline Hotel List on your site, Aria and Cosmopolitan are the only two 5* listings with casinos in this vicinity.

Also, keep in mind that with either service, new hotels can be added or upgraded at any time.

Bellagio, Vdara, Aria, Cosmo, Four seasons and maybe Mandarin Oriental are i believe the 5 * in that area...if you are looking at the 5* express deal i'm more than sure its the Vdara due to tha amenities ect. if u really pay attention to all the listed things amenities,room names, u can pretty much narrow it down to 1 place

Im pretty sure the 4* in the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal south vicinity area is Monte Carlo..
