mcbain Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 Hi guys, looking for help on what to bid for a 4* hotel south beach Collins ave ocean front for 1/24-27. I would like to keep my limit under $200. It looks like there are a few rebid zones like aventura and bay harbor. What price would you guys start at around. Overall all I am just looking for a decent hotel near the beach and nightlife in the area. Anyone have any experience with the 3 or 3.5* hotels in this area. From what I am reading priceline keeps giving the national hotel to many bidders even though the recent reviews are horrendous for it considering the renovations currently going on.Thxmcbain

Unfortunately, I don't think $200 is going to be enough for a 4* in this zone, based upon what I'm seeing.Is this the only zone of interest? My biggest goal is to be walking distance to the beach and most of the nightlife. What would you say would be a good bid for a 4* or a 3.5*. Also, I understand that if I bid 4* through priceline I can avoid the national hotel as they have them listed at 3.5*. Hotwire on the other hand has them listed at 4*Thx for the help
