yellowdog Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding :) I believe there may have been more amenities than you listed in your post. HOTWIRE has a new interface which is not currently showing the complete set of amenities at the usual point of the search process. Please run a new search using the BiddingHelper.com tool at the top of this page. Once the search is completed, use the EASY VIEW TAB and click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing to view the complete set of amenities. Then copy and paste the amenities in a reply to this thread and we will then have a look at this offer. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.

dippity100 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Report Posted January 13, 2014 Hi, thanks for pointing out the betterbidding search function.Only one property shows up on Hotwire Easy View for Hollywood, a 2-star place for $104 a night. However, when I double check on Hotwire itself, they still have the 4 star property showing at $134 a night. On Priceline, it looks like the same property shows up at $134, and there it says:Hollywood Rated 7.0 out of 10 (or higher) Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Business Center Fitness Center$ 134per nightAm I missing something or should I try something else?Thank you for your help :-)
dippity100 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Report Posted January 13, 2014 Does that thing that says "Last person got the Grand Beach Hotel"usually indicate which hotel it is?I was hoping for the Westin Diplomat...Any help?Thank you!
dippity100 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Report Posted January 13, 2014 I apologize if this thread got confused... it looks like I switched Miami Beach with Hollywood :-(
dippity100 Posted January 13, 2014 Author Report Posted January 13, 2014 Hi, I searched on Hotwire and found the following for 2 nights 1/29 to 1/31: Hollywood, FL • 1/29/14 - 1/31/14 • 1 room • 2 adults • 2 childrenhot Rate HotelHollywood Beach areaShow map 80% recommended19 bookings in last 24 hours51%OFF$272ǂ $133per nightAmenities Free Internet Resort Near Beach Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business CenterReviewsHotwire customer reviews80% recommended (513 total reviews)**** Now, when I use the BiddingHelper.com, this property does not seem to appear at all. The only property to appear is a 2-star for $99 per night.Any help?Thank you!
thereuare Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 If a hotel is not appearing in the EASY VIEW TAB, then you need to do the following to see the complete set of amenities:1) search HOTWIRE and select the offer from the search results page2) click the BOOK NOW button3) in the TRIP SUMMARY BOX click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesFollowing the above, this is what i'm seeing for the 4* hotel in this zone for your dates:Free Internet Resort Near Beach Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower If this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this one would be the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
