Sonny Bono
I am new to priceline and hotwire. i have been trying to do some research but not having much luck. Going to Vegas May 9-13 and looking to stay at the cosmopolitan or the MGM Grand. What is the best way to go about this to make sure I get one of my 2 choices. Thanks for the help! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to increase the odds of/target a particular property via either HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, although especially with the latter. If you bid for a particular star rating and zone, you have to be willing to accept ANY hotel in that zone at that star rating (or possibly be upgraded, if there is a higher star level.) With HOTWIRE, only one hotel (or occasionally two) show in each zone at each star rating and it may not be the hotel you are looking for.Unfortunately in this case, the Cosmo and MGM have not been reported to the board in a while, especially the former. You can see the hotels reported to the board (and, as noted in the lists, that information can change at any time) by clicking "Can't Find What You're Looking For" in the upper corner and "See Hotel Lists".Are you only interested in these two properties?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
