yellowdog Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding :) To get you started.how i get good rates for roomsYou need to search the HOTWIRE site to see if you find any 4* hotel within your budget. Current prices for 4* hotels looks to be between $200-$250(+tax/fee's)/night for your dates depending on the zone. Are you ok with the price?also I want to be close to times square or 5th avenue shopping , so can u plz guide meIf you look at the HOTWIRE map for NYC can you see that there is several zones very close to Times Square. I think zones like Midtown East, Midtown Central, Empire State Building etc will serve your purpose. Have look at the HOTWIRE map and let us know what you think and we'll break down this further for you. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases and searches.Yellowdog.PS. When searching for HOTWIRE hotels is it very important that you include your complete party (2 adults + 2 children).

AaronJB Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 What is your desired budget per night for this stay? Unfortunately, this is a busier and more expensive time period due to nicer weather and possibly some graduations going on around this time. As note above, you're looking at rates on HOTWIRE at the 4* level of $225-250 and higher for midtown.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

AaronJB Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 For each listing:I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTW.IRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?Additionally, you can also see all of the hotels reported to the board here: Hotwire Hotel List New York.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
