Amenities includeFree parkingFree internetFree BreakfastSuitePet friendlyStudioFull kitchensmoke free roomsairport shuttle. Is there any other hotel it could be other than the HyattHouse?? And curious why an pool isn't listed??? I can handle about any hotel in the 3 star listing, but want to make sure we have a pool. Also, when hotwire says they won't guarantee beds, but if I enter 4 adults they will make sure they "accomadate the number entered..... so what does this mean?? If I get a room with a king bed will they give me a couple cots or will it have a sofa bed?? Thanks in advance for any help
AaronJB Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 Please provide the date/s of travel and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the listing. Also:I believe there MAY be more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above?Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
rdhemm Posted January 10, 2014 Author Report Posted January 10, 2014 Sorry,Dates of travel are April 2nd, 2014. One night only. Thanks for the tip on the amenties. I used the link above and checked how you said. Yes lots more amenties show up, however the rate is different and another 3* comes up. The only reason the one I looked at caught my eye was because it was listed as a condo. So I assumed that would mean more roon. Thought then we could stay four to a room. We are doing a "girls only" trip and thought it would be fun to be all together. This is the only time I have seen a "condo" listed. And when going thru your link, it doesn't list it as a condo.
thereuare Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 I believe these are indeed the same properties you're seeing, just HOTWIRE no longer uses 'Condo' in the amenity description, only in the Zone Description (ie- Fort Lauderdale Intl Airport Condo so it's designated as such at BiddingHelper.com.If you repeat your search...FIRST use the EASY VIEW TAB and filter to only 3* hotels and the Airport zone... there should be two listed, one is the 'hotel' and the other the 'condo'SECOND use the HOTWIRE TAB and filter by the same... there will be the same two hotels listed, but to see the full amenity list in the HOTWIRE tab (or on their page) you need to make a bunch of additional clicks as follows:1) click the offer from the search results page2) click the BOOK NOW button3) in the TRIP SUMMARY BOX click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesNote that HOTWIRE uses a variable mark-up so you may see slightly different pricing from one search to the next (or in one tab vs. the other tab)LASTLY, note that the only way to guarantee accommodations for quad occupancy is to include 4 guests in your search (which at times, depending upon the hotel, can also increase the price)To sum up, this is the full amenity set i'm seeing for the 3* hotel 'condo' property:Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Suite Pet Friendly Studio Kitchen Smoke Free Shuttle Daily Housekeeping A/C Fitness Pool Business 24hr Front Desk Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Wheelchair Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower If this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this property would be the Hyatt House Fort Lauderdale Airport South. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
