Hotwire rates appear to put us around $90-100 for decent hotel (4* in downtown (Wyndham), 3.5* resort in Inland SD (maybe Rancho Bernado Inn somewhere outside of the city).It looks like you can't go wrong with a 4* hotel in San Diego given the options available, for $90-$100 a night do you think we could get a better hotel bidding on the 4*'s in San Diego or should we just take one of the Hotwire hotels?ThanksLooked 2 days ago and rates were about $15 less than today on Hotwire, do you think they will drop again or is it time to book.
bbbb Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 I think you can do better with PL. Whats the rates on the Hilton gaslamp, the omni and the Hyatt manchester Grand for your dates? Use the hotel chains sites to get these rates.
photomikey Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Just a few weeks ago (on a non-holiday, for what that's worth), I was looking at $140 a night for a 4* downtown via Hotwire. Ended up PL'ing it, and got the same class for $100.If you're looking at downtown, don't forget about parking. Some hotels tack on $25 a day!
