Lenuna Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Hi there. This is my first post...hope I'm following all of the rules!I did a search in previous forums and didn't come across any 3* hotels in London for the Regents park - Baker St - Camden area. The only amenities listed are:Free BreakfastFree InternetSmoke Free RoomsIt shows only 20% recommended with customer reviews...so it's not a loved hotel. But I need the area with a low price. Free breakfast sounds promising. My dates are May 14-18 2014 if that matters. I thought it may be the Somerset Hotel, an independent one. The Holiday Inns have free breakfasts, but they are 3.5* or more. I'm lost. Please help! Thanks!
thereuare Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Welcome to BetterBidding! This property has not yet been reported to the board, but i'd highly recommend you look elsewhere as you probably really don't want to stay at a hotel with only 20% recommended reviews.HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the London Docklands-Canary Wharf-Excel Center for $120/nite with:Free Internet Pet Friendly Smoke Free Fitness Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... and more importantly this property has a 4.5/5.0 TA rating. Some guesses for this property would be the Novotel London Greenwich, Hilton London Canary Wharf, or the Mercure London Greenwich Hotel, but not sure if you're able to extend your budget up to $120 or not and/or how this would work for your specific plans.Your thoughts? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Lenuna Posted January 3, 2014 Author Report Posted January 3, 2014 Thanks for looking into it -- I appreciate the quick response. I went to grad school in london and am going back for a reunion, so need to stick to the regent's park / baker st area even if it is with a sub-par hotel. That is a good price for canary wharf, but would rather spend more time at the pub than on the tube :)Will post if I book something. thanks!
