Julio Giacomet Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Dear Friends,I am about to book a Hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi - Thailand.Looking at the HOTWIREao nang • 2/26/14 - 3/4/14 • 1 room • 2 adults Ao Nang - Railay area $238ǂ$56 per nightAmenities Free ParkingSelf service laundryStill gathering reviews I think that is at least strange that the amenities from a 4,5 stars are Free parking and Self service laundry.Besides, they don't have any reviews so far...How can I trust it is a real 4,5 star hotel?Regards,Julio

Julio Giacomet Posted January 4, 2014 Author Report Posted January 4, 2014 I got this prices at hotwire...I did not understand the answer. The hotel should cost around $238 a day and it is costing $58 today. What I really think that are strange are the amenities.Self service and free parking.A 4,5 star should use better qualities than that, shouldn't?Could you please help me?Regards,Julio
thereuare Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 The $238 rate is not necessary for this specific property, but is an average rate of 4.5* rated hotels in this zone for your dates.Hotels need to have all the amenities they show, but don't need to show all the amenities they have. In other words, for various reasons a hotel may not be showing all the amenities that they have... this hotel may actually have a Restaurant on site (or even a Pool or any other amenities) even though they are not shown here. With the above noted, i don't have any insight into this property. Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
