alumsd Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Pets allowed, business center and restaurant are listed amenities. Thanks for any help!

alumsd Posted January 6, 2014 Author Report Posted January 6, 2014 Dates of stay are March 19 to 23. Thanks!
thereuare Posted January 6, 2014 Report Posted January 6, 2014 I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.NOTE that to see the complete amenities associated with each you will need to do the following:1) search HOTWIRE and select the offer from the search results page2) click the BOOK NOW button3) in the TRIP SUMMARY BOX click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenitiesIf you searching using the method above, do you see more amenities than you have previously listed in your first post? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. alumsd Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Posted January 7, 2014 This was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal, though HOTWIRE also lists a 5* Upper east side hotel (i'm assuming the same one) with pet firendly, restaurant, spa, internet, business, laundry, accesible for blind, accessible for deaf.
thereuare Posted January 8, 2014 Report Posted January 8, 2014 My guess for this PRICELINE EXPRESS property would be The Surrey. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. alumsd Posted February 3, 2014 Author Report Posted February 3, 2014 I am getting ready to book now. On HOTWIRE I am seeing a 5* upper east side with the following amenities:Pet friendlyRestaurantBusiness centerInternet accessSpaIt's 95% recommended with 24 reviewsNo tripadvisor informationIt says the last person got the hotel plaza atheneeIve narrowed it down to either the hotel plaza athenee or the Surrey. Over time I've seen a similar listing but with 100% Hotwire recommended with a 4.5 tripadvisor recommendation, which I'm not certain if it's the same hotel or not. Anyway, my dilemma is I would really prefer the hotel plaza athenee for the location. Any helpmismgreatly appreciated.
alumsd Posted February 3, 2014 Author Report Posted February 3, 2014 Guess I've narrowed down our choices to these 3 hotwire hotels. (1) The 5* UE side noted above. This would be my choice if it's the Hotel Plaza Athenee (we don't want to be too far away from midtown, the Surrey is mouch further).(2) There is a 4.5* midtown east listed for $228. It's 90% recommended with a 4.5 tripadvisor rating. Amenities are:Fitness, restaurant, business center, laundry, internet, spa, accessible for blind, accessible for deaf, path for blind. My best guess is New York Palace?(3) Last, there is a 3.5* midtown east for $158 that is 100% recommended, no tripadvisor ratings, amenities are free internet, smoke free, fitness, restaurant, business center, self service laundry. This one doesn't seem to fit any on the hotel list.Any guesses on these would be greatly appreciated. Our travel dates are March 19-23, so we are ready to purchase.
