Tried to bid on hotels in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale area on the beach. Got up to $110 and bid everything from 3.5 star to 4.5 star...no luck. Has anyone won a proerty in the Fort Lauderdale area for March 6-9 2012?

In the Tools area (up in the header) is a feature called Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Any hotels reported as wins here will be posted on it.

For your dates, and the areas and star levels you are bidding, the least expensive on HOTWIRE is a $162 3 1/2*. There is a $133 4* in the Boca Raton area, but that zone extends quite a ways inland.

There are a couple of PRICELINE EXPRESS deals at about $150 with the 5% discount in thereuare's signature.

Spring break in Florida will be a challenge for finding a good deal.
