I read some reviews in trip Advisor that have me worried. But will see how it goes. many people said it was not 4*

The prepaid rate on their website is $198, so you might contact PRICELINE(if a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal) as they should refund the overage. Reviews look fine, Clarions are better in Europe than here, but the location for a tourist is a bit out of the way. Start studying the Paris metro map, as you are close to the St Lazare metro station to get around

Thanks, I think in terms of the area is OK. I have contacted Priceline regarding the price. I obtained the price with a bid, but I never assumed that I would get a sub-standard 4* hotel. This is the first time this happensto me with Priceline.

Not sure what you think this property should be rated (i'm not familiar with it so can't say what it should be), but as star ratings are subjective it's difficult to dispute star ratings if/when the difference is only a half a star or so.

On the other hand, PRICELINE's Best Rate Guarantee is valid for when you bid and 'name your own price' (as well as PRICELINE EXPRESS) so you should hopefully be able to get the price matched as well as an additional $25 refund.
