rohita1 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 Hi,Just came across this site and found it very helpful so decided to register. So I am planning for my honeymoon in Hawaii during end of January.During booking for hotel from Priceline I see a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for 4* hotel in Ka'anapali-lahaina area for $221I believe it is Hyatt but the problem is I don't get an option to choose the type of room. Our preference is to have ocean view.Is there a way to do that when I start bidding for it?How do you guys usually book Ocean view from bidding or express deal. Please let me know. Thanks,RA
thereuare Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages.Unless 'BED CHOICE' is listed as an option, all PRICELINE (and HOTWIRE) purchases are for 'standard' rooms. You may be able to work something out with the hotel to upgrade to a higher class room, either for free or for an additional fee, but there is no assurance that the hotel will be willing, or able, to do so.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
