area to post great travel deals?

I would love to see a place where we could post when we find a great deal. Such as when a website has a glitch and airfares are pricing extremely low, or just the latest fare sale.

Also included could be the ability to post if we receive email with valuable discount codes or fare sale information. We could even post codes for discounts on hotels and car rentals.

Is something like this do-able? :)

Everything is do-able... even if we haven't figured out how to do it yet!!

Actually, this is a GREAT idea, AND i know how to do it! The one thing i'm trying to avoid is having the main page become too long, which is difficult when you already have a list of 50 states, plus all the other stuff that i think is vital as well.

However, i think this would be beneficial enough to users that it would be worth dragging the mouse another 1/4 inch or scrolling the wheel another 2mm.

Check out the bottom of the board and let me know how this works for you (and if others have a comment, please chime in). If there is no feedback we'll leave it as is for now and see how it goes. I included a non-travel related section also, as i'm sure sometimes there are just deals that shouldn't be missed that we would all have an interest in.

I am so happy you added this section as I am constantly looking for and also finding travel deals. :)

I also want to thank you for all the work you've put into this and your openness to suggestions. I think this is going to be a really great board with lots of valuable information.
