leaning towards option 1, but amenities don't seem to match up with any on the list? Thinking it might be the either:

Doubletree Metropolitan

W New York

Westin Grand Central

or Intercontinental Barclay

We haven't seen exact match for the 4* MTE property and unfortunately the amenities are fairly common for NYC... the InterContinental The Barclay or the Westin Grand Central would both all be among the likely candidates, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were still others too (i'd slightly lean towards the InterContinental Barclay for this one).

For the MTC property my guess here would be a new amenity set for the Mansfield Hotel.

Ended up booking the hotel in MTE for $214 - its the The Westin New York Grand Central

You're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.
