AaronJB Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 I'd guess this is either a new amenity set for the Radisson or Doubletree. The latter is more likely, but I'd say either is a possibility.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
jimaleg Posted December 13, 2013 Author Report Posted December 13, 2013 DoubleTree always offered free internet....the Radisson is a 4 *. Are you just guessing or do you have any knowledge of Cleveland 3.5 star hotels?
thereuare Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 DoubleTree always offered free internet....the Radisson is a 4*.I believe they are both currently 3.5* rated and both offer free internet. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. jimaleg Posted December 13, 2013 Author Report Posted December 13, 2013 It is on BB Priceline Hotel list as a 4*....didn't see it on the Hotwire list. Is it possible to be 4* on one and 3.5* on the other?
thereuare Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 It is on BB Priceline Hotel list as a 4*....didn't see it on the Hotwire list. Is it possible to be 4* on one and 3.5* on the other? Each service rates hotels based upon their own criteria and therefore the star ratings of the two services can sometimes be different.Check the Hotwire Hotel List again and you'll the Radisson listed as a 3.5* hotel below the Embassy Suites and above the Westin. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. jimaleg Posted September 10, 2014 Author Report Posted September 10, 2014 I never ended up bidding. You see, I really wanted the double tree vs. the Raddison since it was close to the R&R Hall of fame so I went on Hilton Honors and used 8000 points and $40 points to get one night. Even though I didn't earn points (which I wouldn't have by bidding) it only costed me 8000 points to save $36 best case (which is about a 1/2 a cent a point which is about the best you can hope for Hilton honors points) so I took the cash and points deal. I'm also gold on Hilton so I got a room upgrade.
