The Blackstone Renaissance or the Radisson Blu Aqua would be my best guess for this one.

Not sure of your needs for this trip, but with this HOTWIRE offer showing a 4.5/5.0 TA rating i wouldn't be too concerned with quality for this one.

My only concern is how far south the hotel could be in Hotwire's grouping. Looking for something up towards the river. The Radisson would be ideal but the Blackstone may be too far south.

Thanks!

Do most of your plans put you in this zone as the River North and/or Water Tower zones are north of the river and usually considered a bit better located (especially if you're looking for nightlife, restaurants, bars, etc)

I'd say the Radisson Blu is the more likely possibility in this case - and the listing does get a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating. However, there is always the chance it may be something else. If you are looking to be at the river or North of it, I would look at listings in the Mag Mile-RN area or Mag Mile-WT area. The Gold Coast area can start to be rather far North in the Winter if it's bitter outside.

If you are not particular about which hotel you get, I'd consider bidding for these date/s at the 4* level in the NMA area on PRICELINE. This is a very slow period and if you are more just looking for a place to sleep, you could possibly get something in the $50's.

If location is the most important factor you can also try searching within a given radius of almost any address using our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com, which also has links to show you nearby restaurants, bars, etc. near each hotel.

When I search for two adults/two children (not two adults only), I'm seeing what appears to be the W Lakeshore for $77. That's a bit out of the way near the lake, but it is North of the river. I'm also seeing what appears to be the James for $84. That would be a great location within very reasonable walking distance of River North restaurants.

Let us know your thoughts and we would be happy to point these out or make other suggestions.
