Jon yo Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 Totally disappointed I have been bidding for two weeks and today I did all area that were non 5 star from $100 all the way to $130, in an attempt to get a nice hotel in the south strip vicinity. I ended up getting inpatient and added the north strip vicinity which I forgot included trump. I lowered my big to $125 and received the trump. The kicker being the list price on priceline is $115 a night. I was pissed and called priceline and they honoured there best price guarantee. I got the 115 a night plus $25 back and a $50 bonus bucks to use in the future. I totally feel ripped off and am a long time user of priceline and can't believe this happened to me. I probably could have big $70 in the same area and got the Trump.....I suck don't make the same mistake I did. Better luck to fellow bidders......Cheers.

Bob Smith Posted December 26, 2013 Report Posted December 26, 2013 same thing happens to me buddy.I bid $65 and got two nights at Trump.I wanted to stay another night in Vegas and was trying other areas in the strip and got up to $80 in the areas that I wanted with no takers. being the genius that I am I also added the north area by mistake and got trump for $80. its a $60,place but what can you do. I once got aria for $76 and it was way better than trump but no luck this time.I considered it a lesson learned the hard way. I will try not to use my phone for bidding in the future and not be in asuch a rush that I don't check all the areas carefully before rebiding. better luck to both of us next time!BTW, trump really blows but atleat they have a free shuttle to Wyn.
