thereuare
Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3* OR is the goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay? (ie- do you first want to try for a 4* up to your limit OR do you prefer a less expensive 3* hotel)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and please click each of these previous links before replying.Thanks. Questor
I would say least expensive would be better, as we aren't planning to spend long at the hotel, it's just a place to sleep and rest the tired tourist legs..! Link to comment

Questor
We ended up taking the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal at $122, which was the Hyatt Regency. Very happy to get that so cheaply!I did of course go through the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links here. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you received a 4* hotel for less than your maximum budget for a 3* property. Out of curiosity, did you bid up to $120 for a 3* hotel and were rejected OR did you think the 4* was a good value at this price and decided to purchase it thru PRICELINE EXPRESS without bidding?Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding. Questor
I was more than happy to bid but SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) said she'd rather have a guaranteed deal, so we went with the express deal! Thanks again for the advice :) Link to comment
