I am going from dec 7 thru 13th and I was also wondering about bidding strategies. I have gotten to $150 for a 3.5 star and no luck. Is it too late or too early to get bids and maybe I'd be better off doing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal? I really want to stay around 200 a night cause we are staying for 6 nights. I'd like to stay I around midtown east or midtown central or even Central Park south. Will this be possible? Any help would be appreciated,

You're coming to NYC during one of the most expensive weeks of the year.

Depending upon the zones you select, at current rates i think you're likely looking at a $200-$225 bid price for a 3* hotel... probably $260-$280 for something at the 3.5* level.

Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there.

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

Is that the complete set of amenities associated with this property?

Using the EASY VIEW TAB at BiddingHelper.com this is the full list of amenities i'm seeing associated with the 3* hotel in this zone:

Free Internet

Fitness

Pool

Restaurant

Business

Hi-Speed Internet

Blind Accessible

Deaf Accessible

Travel Accessible

Room Accessible

Bathroom Accessible

Handicapped Parking

Roll-in Shower

If this is what you're seeing, my best guess for this one would be the Holiday Inn Midtown 57th St.
