I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool, and then click the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? This is what i see as the 4* hotel in this zone when searching as per above:

I finally decided to book it but it looks like things changed.

It is now $97 a night with these amenities:

Free Internet

Pet friendly

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

Spa Services

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

I really wanted the Hyatt so I'm kind of bummed now. Mariott would also be nice since I'm visiting UCSD. Is it possible that the HOTWIRE deals will change again before ~Monday back to the Hyatt?

The HOTWIRE offers can (and do) change at any time. It's a bit more complicated than the following, but to put it most simply, the hotel with the lowest price at each star level in the zone is shown. So this current offer may be the same hotel you continue to see up until your date of travel... or it could be gone the next time you search. It all depends if this current offer sells (or pulls) all of their discounted inventory at this rate OR if another hotel at this star rating in the zone offers rooms at a lower price than this one.

As far as the 'new' property above, a hotel with this amenity set has not yet been reported to the board and i don't have any additional insight into this one.

I ended up bidding on PRICELINE for the same dates to try my luck I guess.

Ended up getting the Hyatt for $86 a night.
