dave pass Posted October 21, 2005 Report Posted October 21, 2005 Hi,Hotwire is listing a 3.5* hotel in Midtown East for $171. The only amenities listed are a fittness center and busniess center. The price is right and the location is fine. I just need to make sure it's not a dilapidated shoebox (my girlfriend becomes quite hostile when this is the case ;-)Any ideas as to what hotel this may be?

dave pass Posted October 22, 2005 Author Report Posted October 22, 2005 sorry, i posted it in a new threadshall I add it to the other one as well?
thereuare Posted October 22, 2005 Report Posted October 22, 2005 I've merged your two threads above. The above Hotwire hotel is a match for the Doubletree Metropolitan so that would be our best guess. However, we're seeing low rates for 4* properties for dates in late December and i think you can do better than the above. If you're open to other properties i would first try to bid as follows:Select 4* MTE...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120.Select 4* MTW...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120.Select 4* UM/CPS...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120.Select 4* MTE and MTW...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135.Select 4* MTE and UM/CPS...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $135.Select 4* MTE and MTW and UM/CPS...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150.Let us know what you decide to do and how it goes.
