Priceline Hotel: Looking for 5* on Vegas strip for Nov 10-13th.

I will be in Las Vegas from Nov 10-13th and I'm looking for a 5* hotel for my stay. After reading through several threads, I ran across a post which leads me to a few follow up questions:

1) Easyclicktravel.com is a new site to me; does this site operate similar to hotwire and priceline, and does this site use most (if not all) of the same hotels? What hotels am I likely to get with a 5* request? Venetian? (how about the Bellagio?)

2) What strategies would you recommend if I booked the first night with this site (assuming in the Venetian) for $258/nite and then getting another room for a little less than $200/nite? I am willing to spend up to $275/nite for a 5*, but the lower the better. :)

There is no bidding on EasyClickTravel, but some of their properties are "Off the Record" which means that you won't know the name of the property until after you purchase. However, from the description we know that THIS is the Venetian.

If there are other "Off the Record" deals you want to know about you shoud use our EasyClickTravel REVERSE Look-up tool.

The 'problem' with the above EasyClickTravel offering at $258 is that it is "on request" rather than "available".. meaning that they have already sold their allotment of rooms for that date and will try to contact the hotel to see if they can get more at their contract price. It doesn't hurt to try, but given the high rate at the Venetian, i'm not very confident that they will be able to get additional inventory at that price.

Thanks for your help and for the explanation of EasyClickTravel. For now I'm deciding to place a credit card "hold" to secure a room with the option of a full refund (within their 72 hr time restriction), and try Priceline a few days prior.
