l1a7 Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I just finished bidding on a NYC hotel for Friday October 21st. Here was my stratergy:MTW- 4* bid 100 rejectedadded MTW 3* at 100 also rejectedadded MTE 3-4* at 120 acceptedWon the Hilton on 53rd Street and 6th AvenueTotal with taxes $147.38Hope this can help someone! If I could do it over again I would have started with a lower bid in just the MTE area.
thereuare Posted October 20, 2005 Report Posted October 20, 2005 I think you should ask for a bidding strategy before bidding for your next hotel as the approach you took wasn't optimal (on a few fronts)... it worked ok though and in the end that's what counts!Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
l1a7 Posted October 21, 2005 Author Report Posted October 21, 2005 Can you please tell me what stratergy you would have used...then I can see where I made my mistakes? I'd like to learn for next time. Thanks!
