Hotwire Hotel: 5* Florence (Old Town - Duomo - Ponte Vecchio) Hotel Regency

Using your links, my sister and brother-in-law have taken the hot deal from HOTWIRE and scored the Hotel Regency.

The amenities shown were: free breakfast, free internet, restaurant, business centre, self-service laundry, golf and tennis.

I note that the little bubble on the HOTWIRE page said "the last person who booked this hotel got the Montebello Splendid" but in this case that wasn't a dead giveaway for the property.

In any event, happy with the property the savings and will continue to use your links for research and purchases.

One question though, going into my account and trips I cannot work out how to view the amenities for the hotel - my sister wants to ensure they are given the free breakfast and would like to have a print out of the guaranteed amenities. Can you please talk me through how to do that.

Note that the "last person got..." info is for the star rating and zone, not the specific hotel offered.

To view the amenities you can go to your HOTWIRE account (either log-in or click your screen name at the top right of HOTWIRE's home page)... from there select MY TRIPS and you should be able to view the details of this purchase including the amenities. While you are there, can you please also confirm if 'Hi-Speed Internet' was shown in addition to the 'Free Internet' that you have listed above.

We have gone into My Trips and all it has once clicking on the name of the hotel is the confirmation page of the successful purchase - no amenities are listed. Any ideas? We want to make sure that they will get the free breakfast that the amenities listed as included.

I do recall that it also had high-speed internet. Sorry for not including it in the original list.

The amenities should be there (at least if you're on the US version of the HOTWIRE site... i can't say for the non-US version, but this could be another reason to ensure that you use the US version)

I don't know of any other way to view the amenities, but i wouldn't be too concerned as breakfast is a standard amenity at this property and the free breakfast is not something only included for guests who booked as a special rate.

Thanks, it seems that whenever I click on your links it will take me straight to the Australian version of the site. However, you're quite right, when I go into MY TRIPS on the US version it does give me the option to view the amenities and to print out the confirmation with the amenities included.

Once you change the drop down menu to the US site our HOTWIRE link should take you to the US site in the future (until that HOTWIRE setting expires).
