Hotwire Hotel: Need help deciphering what hotel these could be

Looking at booking a 4* hotel in downtown LA for 1/11/14. I received 3 hits for 4* hotels but I'm not sure what they could be. Any help would be awesome!

Just used the HOTWIRE link from this site and it stated downtown LA has 2 4* hotels that are in the area. Not sure what they are:

1 - $134/night. 95% recommended (internet, pool, pet friendly, business center...)

2 - $118/night. 85% recommended (internet, fitness center, business center

Would love to get some help on what these are so I could get a better idea on what to bid for. Thanks for your help!

Is your game plan to bid on PRICELINE? If so, why don't we just get right into a bidding strategy rather than spend the time identifying these hotels (which you apparently don't have any intention to purchase)? How will identifying these hotels effect your bidding strategy?

huh? i'm confused. I'm trying to identify to purchase. I'm not sure what you mean by 'apparently don't have any intention to purchase'. If that were true, I wouldn't be on this site.

I'm trying to find out if it's the Bonaventure or the Standard(yay) or something like the Omni (boo).

What are the bidding strategies? I guess knowing that they're around $130 or less would make me bid 20%-30% off and see what they'll take on PRICELINE? I'd rather pay a little more knowing it's a hotel that I'd rather be in than not.

You mention identifying the HOTWIRE hotels above in order to determine what you should bid... but there is no bidding on HOTWIRE, only with PRICELINE, and the hotel(s) offered on HOTWIRE are is not necessarily the same hotel that you would win when bidding on PRICELINE.

For each of the HOTWIRE hotels above I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

NOTE that to see the complete amenities associated with each you will need to do the following:

1) search HOTWIRE and select the offer from the search results page

2) click the BOOK NOW button

3) in the TRIP SUMMARY BOX click the 'See more' link at the end of the amenities

This is what i'm seeing when searching for your dates:

4* Downtown at $118/nite (your price may differ slightly):
