Priceline Hotel: 4* Fort Lauderdale (Hollywood) Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach Resort Hotel

I read few threads and understood that more of 4 stars hotels have been added to Hollywood, FL area. Checked hotel amenities hoping to get Westin Diplomat.

Outdoor Swimming Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

Fitness Center

Noted, that if I add a day of stay (adding Dec 21, 2013) the "Free Internet" gets added (assumed, it switches to Crowne Plaza as Westin doesn't have free internet as far as I know).

Decided not to risk and changed by one day less (Dec 16-Dec 20) and gave a bid of $87 and rejected with option to rebid by +$15 ($102 per night)

Accepted and won --- Crowne Plaza with an option to extend where I added originally needed Dec 21 checkout for the same price.

Had a hope to win again Westin Diplomat where I bit last year for Hollywood with 4 stars and won, but, hope all will be OK.

There is really nothing to do to increase the chances of a particular property/properties - hotels have the option of offering discounted inventory and there are times when a particular hotel is seen often then not seen for months and some hotels are seen very rarely. With HOTWIRE and PRICELINE Express, only one hotel is offered for each set of date/s in each zone at each star rating and it may not be the hotel you are hoping for.
