Need help identifying please:

4.5 Star

New York City - Midtown East Zone

Is there any way this isn't The Benjamin? Based on TripAdvisor review/photos, I was hoping to avoid that and luck out with The Palace or another 4.5 star. Any thoughts on The Benjamin if that is what it likely is?

One other question, when it says "Book Soon! The last person got______", is it almost guaranteed that is the hotel you would get? If so, considering The Katano at $101/night.

I will definitely use the BB HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to book the room when I do. Been a big fan of the site for a while and this is my first post. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info - much appreciated. I'm definitely not going to pull the trigger on The Benjamin though. Seems like a fairly lackluster property and one that should probably be a 4 star. I'll keep stalking the sites over the next week until I make a decision.

Actually, the Benjamin typically gets excellent reviews and in fact the last six reviews at TA all gave the property 5 out of 5 stars.... but as my dad would say, "That is why Baskin Robbins makes 31 flavors", as everyone's tastes are a bit different (and why so many hotel brands are able to survive and do well)
