Thanks. I got impatient and booked the 4* and you are correct, it's The Allerton. This is the first time I felt regret after booking a Hotwire deal. Based on the reviews and pics, it doesn't seem at all like a 4* hotel. I'm not happy, but it was only $100/night I suppose.

Sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the result. While this is an older property, the positive is that it is in a superb location. Hopefully the hotel will exceed expectations. I'd try to maybe ask for a room on the Michigan Ave side to get a decent view.
