cruiseshmooz Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 Hi! Would you please help identify a 4 1/2 star hotel in Santiago Chile, Jan 16-19, $115 per night plus taxes and fees. It says the standard price is $280.The area is East Providencia.Still gathering reviews.Free parking Free breakfast Free internet indoor pool in room, wheelchair, and bathroom accessibility, handicap parkingTripadvisor 4.5 out of 5Do you think it is the Radisson Plaza? Or where else? Thanks.
AaronJB Posted November 6, 2013 Report Posted November 6, 2013 I'd guess the Regal Pacific would be a potential match in this case, but that's definitely just a guess.Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Keeria Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 This is also just a guess. It could possibly be the Hotel Marriott. In February 2012, I bid on Priceline for Santiago de Chile and won the Hotel Marriott. I was very happy. This is a phantastic hotel. I will be in Santiago on January 15th and this time, I have booked the Park Plaza in Providencia through their homepage at a very reasonale rate. I have stayed there before, and I can recommend it. It is very near to an Underground station and therefore very convenient to reach all interesting sights.
thereuare Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 I don't believe the Marriott offers a free breakfast and their pool is outdoors, so i don't think this one is the Marriott... i think the Regal Pacific Hotel Santiago (which does offer free breakfast and their pool is indoor) is the better guess here. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. In February 2012, I bid on Priceline for Santiago de Chile and won the Hotel Marriott. Thanks for your post. Can you please add your win to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others will be aware of your win when searching the topic titles on the board and in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins and Priceline Maps.In your post please include the star rating, city, zone, hotel name, room rate per nite, and dates of your stay... you can still view all of this information by going to PRICELINE and clicking the MY PROFILE >> MY TRIPS link near the top right of their home page. Thanks! cruiseshmooz Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 Finally, we decided to stay at the Radisson, which we got at a senior rate. Not too cheap, but it did include breakfast. The hotel was a big success. In a good area, across from a beautiful shopping mall, near restaurants and the people in the hotel were very hospitable. Highly recommend it.
